Approach & Method

We engage all stakeholders in our community programs, ensuring full participation at every implementation level. We leverage existing structures and create tailor-made ones when necessary to sustain our initiatives.

Being part of the local Zambian community, we understand its needs and use professional participatory methods to include everyone’s ideas, ensuring all voices are heard and valued.

Participatory Action Research (PAR)

We use Participatory Action Research (PAR), a collaborative approach that merges research with action in the field. PAR brings together diverse stakeholders, including organizations and individuals, to explore complex issues, gather insights, and co-create solutions. This participatory process helps us design effective interventions that ensure lasting, positive change and sustainability for our programs.

Visionary Community College

Our name is “visionary initiatives” – so we have a space for education with the communities in collaboration with other organizations as stakeholders, to help the beneficiaries actualize their envisioned initiatives. These educational programs are conducted right in the beneficiaries’ communities and spaces. These include but not limited to skills, business management, governance and leadership trainings and empowerment programs, etc.

Our Partners

VWI is thriving to build strong local and international Partnerships to attain SDG-17; Collaboration between communities and other stakeholders is crucial for the success and sustainability of developmental programs.
